The founder of Midwest College Consulting is Dana Rolander. Dana attended the University of Iowa, receiving her BA in Journalism & Mass Communication with minors in English and Sociology. She went on to develop a long-standing marketing career in the financial services and education industries, spending several years developing marketing campaigns for school districts on levies, service initiatives and administrative personnel hiring. While navigating the college planning process with her two sons, Dana discovered a passion for college admissions. She received a Certificate in Admissions Counseling With Distinction from UCLA, is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association, the National Association for College Admission Counseling, the Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling and the Wisconsin Association for College Admission Counseling. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Mariemont School Foundation and resides in Terrace Park, Ohio with her husband and three sons, a high school sophomore, a senior at Tufts University, and a recent graduate of The Ohio State University.
